Remember the pellet selling loon that claimed he owned Facebook? Now he has new troubles.

shorty

Now the chap that claimed to own Facebook  and was arrested last month on charges of Fraud for allegedly fabricating his own evidence might just end up paying Facebook's hefty Legal Fees. Ceglia was released from Jail recently after posting a $250.000 bail is still intent on fighting his way in a civil lawsuit against Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg.

The center of focus in this case now centers around the reason as to why additional hard copies of an alleged contract between Ceglia and Zuckerbug were destroyed. Ceglia's legal eagles claim the additional files (evidence by now) was made on a grocery store copier near his home on  Wellsville, N.Y. was mistaken for ''waste paper'' (I wonder why) and destroyed. Facebook says Ceglia's explanation was cryptic and evasive quote-unquote.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie Foschio instructed Ceglia's legal team to submit in evidence an affidavit confirming,  and under oath, that all hard-copies of the ''contract" drafted by Ceglia before June 30, 2010, had been given to Facebook for review and/ or destroyed. The Judge also told Facebook to make a  tally total of how much they've spent on their Legal fees up to now on this case.

We remind you that this dispute began in 2010 when Ceglia filed a lawsuit against Facebook where he laid the claim that he hired  Zuckerberg via a Craigslist ad in 2003 to write code for a project called StreetFax. Ceglia claims he paid Zuckerberg $1,000 for code work and additionally invested $1.000 in the early form of Facebook Inc. Based on these facts, he's laying claim to a 50% interest in today's Multi-billion dollar Facebook Inc.

Recent developments have not been kind to Ceglia. He could face up to 40 years as a guest in one of America's finest jails on  two charges: Violation of U.S. Postal laws and e-mail for the transmitting of fraudulent material. The U.S. attorneys office claims that Ceglia inserted a fake page into a contract signed by himself and Zuckerberg. It so happens that this is the page stating about the 50% share.

Damning evidence has come to light in a forensic report conclusively proving that the the ''contract'' was indeed altered.

The Judge ordered both sides to submit their affidavits within 10 days.
