A New York Man may spend 40 Years in Jail for Pretending to Own Facebook

Paul Ceglia, an upstate New York wood pellet salesman who claimed to co-own Facebook with Zuckerman was arrested last week at his home on fraud charges. Associated Press reports that he may just face the next 40 years in one of America's finest penitentiary institutions, compliments of the Jury. So if you're tempted to fib and tell your friends and business associates that you own, oohh let's say Twitter, learn a lesson from this sad guy and don't!
Ceglia's claims were always foolish and laughable, hinging on (doctored it seems) messages he claims to have exchanged with Billionaire extraordinaire Zuck, wherein he gave Mark a grant, entitling him to 50-84% of the Facebook Co. As it's highly unlikely this pellet-selling loon was a Facebook financier, we'll see how this plays out in court. It is however  hard to imagine things going well for Ceglia, who Preet Bharara from the Manhattan District Attorney's office  says wanted a "quick payday based on a blatant forgery.
I for one find it quite difficult to believe that a man , based on a lie, could face 40 years in Prison. They give murderers less! Details are still unclear, but rumor has it that he wasn't just claiming to be a co-owner of Facebook but was actually suing Facebook over it in a court of law under false pretexts.

As undisputed owner of the universe and everything in it, I think I just may appoint this unfortunate soul Honorary High Commissioner at the facility he will be calling home for the next few years.
