Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky announced at CES this wee that his company's smart-watch will  begin being shipped out starting from January 23rd.

It's rumored that production figured daily runs into the thousands and orders are already 6-8 weeks back ordered. But what is it?, one gadget geek may ask the other. The Pebble watch is rumored not only to become 2013's fashion statement , but also the ''must have'' accessory. 

It's basically a sleek watch that syncs directly with your Android or iOS smartphone providing you with invaluable information such as Facebook post updates, text messages, music controls and of course, the time. Personally , i think it's the way it tells the time which I think makes this watch stand out from the rest. It's the way you can choose how YOU want time to be told to you.  Normally, Fuzzy, Analogue , Digital.  It can even give you the time of day with a tic-tac-toe display. 

It will also be one of the first watches around that will be software udgradable and updatable . After all, no self respecting smart product can be seen in the marketplace without this possibility now , can it? Looks good, but only time will tell how well this ambitious multi-million Dollar startup gamble will pan out.
